Partnerships

We support and seek partnerships with the various entities involved with the issues of sustainability, captive breeding, social responsibility, and protection of the environment. Oceans' Garden believes that education is imperative for the long-term survival of the coral reefs, the local fishermen who use the waters to sustain their livelihood, and the marine ornamental industry as we know it.

For example, Reef Protection International is an organization dedicated to the protection of our coral reefs through education and conservation efforts. They have introduced a guide for responsible aquarists based on the suitability of the fish in marine aquariums. Oceans' Garden is pleased to support this guide by offering all the captive bred options listed, and we support Reef Protection International's larger mission of coral reef preservation.

Many of the photographs on this website come from the fishing villages in Indonesia. Oceans' Garden is building a relationship with the villages here and in other countries to improve the quality of their lives through teaching best practices, increased wages and reinvestment.
