Hammer Coral, Euphyllia sp. is a LPS coral with long tentacles and hammer shaped tips. Colors vary widely ranging from yellow, red, brown, and green.

There should always be plenty of space between the Hammer Coral and other corals or inverts as it can be aggressive with its tentacles. They thrive best with moderate lighting and moderate waterflow. The Torch Coral is popular, and for good reason as it is incredibly beautiful and an excellent coral for an intermediate aquarist looking to add some complexity and color into a reef tank.
