Frogspawn Coral, Euphyllia sp. is a LPS coral with long tentacles and with multiple rounded tips. Colors vary widely ranging from yellow, red, brown, and green. This specimen has vibrant green stalks with deep saturated purple tips, It has absolutely large polyps as well, a wonderful cultivar indeed.
There should always be plenty of space between the Frowspawn Coral and other corals or inverts as it can be aggressive with its tentacles. They thrive best with moderate lighting and moderate waterflow. Frogspawn Coral are popular, and for good reason as it is incredibly beautiful and an excellent coral for an intermediate aquarist looking to add some complexity and color into a reef tank.
